Link Love

I'd like to start regularly offering links here, to share the love I am finding on the internet.Let's get right to it, shall we, starting with an awesome quote I found today:

"We are shaped and fashioned by what we love." Johann Wolfgang von Goethe (photo and design by me, via picnik)

The Organic Sister has just published her third article in the amazing series she is doing on personal growth. She has also shared that she is soon to be launching a similarly themed e-book. Very inspiring and gorgeous soul-work, Tara! I am loving it all up.

The Courage to Fly blog hop continues this week (and for another five weeks!!!) and my fellow bloggers are moving me to tears and sharing big things. I am very much looking forward to Wednesday's posts.

Stephey, who was inspired to create the blog hop, has an amazing website that is overflowing with authentic, amazing, inspiring goodness. (And I'm not just saying that. Seriously. Click the links. This woman is a powerhouse of inspiration. And her etsy shop rocks, too.)

At a birthday party a few months ago, a photographer/ mom and I got to talking a little. I mentioned I shoot with a Sony Alpha 200 and she told me about Me Ra Koh's blog. Me Ra is amazing. I especially loved her latest post, on evolving with your passion. Very, very inspirational stuff. (I mean, she went to Thailand with her homeschooled kids to live for two months. And it wasn't always fun, but it was an adventure. That is my kind of living!)

On a more fun and dance-worthy (but maybe not safe for kids, so screen it ahead of time or watch it later) yesterday while I was making my History of Rock and Roll playlist (still in progress), I found this awesome video of Fishbone covering one of my favorite Sublime song's: Date Rape. (OK, actually, "What I Got" is my favorite Sublime song. "Life is too short, so love the one you got, cause you might get run over or you might get shot... take all of your money and give it all to charity. love is what I got, it's within my reach..." Hells to the yeah! Hey, here's a cool Franti cover!

Ok, I have to end this Link Love List with this awesome post on "Real Life" lifestyle photography  from I Heart Faces (a cool photography blog) that really deeply inspired me yesterday. Where will my photographic journey take me next? I don't know. But I feel like maybe my shutting off the door to doing portraiture was a little hasty...
