in the clouds

By sheer happenstance, this morning, I was able to see Cloud Atlas. We had been planning on going on Sunday (we normally go to the movies on Sunday), but the timing worked out perfectly.

I've been looking forward to it for awhile: The Matrix Trilogy is one of my favorite movie series of all time (yes, the entire trilogy: I loved each of those movies). Cloud Atlas had rumors of being geeky nirvana.

And it was: Entirely. Geeky. Nirvana.

But at the most basic level, this is a movie about love. About the power of love and the power of humanity to come together to fix this crazy thing called life.

Right up my alley. Entirely.
