seventh night: adventure

(photo from my archive, art made today.)

California adventure 2017, today: driving up the one along the Pacific coast, between Santa Monica and Malibu because I didn't want to deal with the traffic on the 405. California is so predictable. (when isn't there traffic on the 405?)

all along the beach frontage highway, there's that blend of the ultra rich fancy cars and the old broken down surfer vans. which is exactly what Mira Flores reminded me of, this summer. it's the same along all of the Pacific coast here, and Hawaii, what I saw of it. because the beach is still free, but people with huge amounts of wealth will build palaces with views, if they can.

the beach is still free. but the views, the views will cost ya.

(sigh.)
