From our boat tour of Isla Balestra yesterday. I'm reading some sources claiming it to be "the Peruvian Galapagos" but I think the Galapagos are incredible unique. Isla Balestra is teeming with wildlife, but for the most part, it's all birds.
(Including boobies and penguins!)
Which is great, don't get me wrong, and wow, that was a lot of birds. But it isn't the same as the Galapagos, where there are animals that evolved in complete isolation.
But still, it was cool.
(So many birds!)
